We welcome and thank you for your interest in the Asheville School of Classic Rock... we are located in the dynamic "Beer City" ( with its Music venues) of Asheville, NC, whose Leaders have committed to putting Education first for everyone in our Community...

If you are Serious about undertaking our Program, truly Serious; you must follow the "Mandatory" Scenario to be considered for Acceptance to ASCR...

1. Familiarize with our Homepage… read the Mission Statement and the Message from our Founder... if you are still interested, click on the button to sign up for the Classic Rock Turntables.com (CRT) Newsletter

2. Fill out the Profile necessary to be accepted as a Subscriber and Submit… you will start receiving emails immediately and have access to the non-member Content of the Site (as read-only)

Note: ASCR is not an entry-level school... the Main Reason why we have such Stringent Requirements for Acceptance to ASCR is that our Curriculum requires a certain Background to benefit from our Rigorous Program effectively...

You Must answer personal questions about your music listening preferences, the elements of Music Theory and Music Appreciation, and be able to Demonstrate your Aural and/or Instrumental skills via a Video.

You must write an Essay about your Musical Background and WHY you want to pursue a Career in the Music Industry (that is NOT AI-generated)… you must level with us about your background… if you feel some things are lacking in your Profile, we want to help you. There is a Box to check called “Wannabee” that will trigger our Team to respond and interact about your needs to be ready for the next time you want to apply

Note: Our Policy at ASCR is one of “No-fail” in that you will not be given a Grade… what you will be given, constructively, is an assessment of your current needs to advance those skills to be considered for Employment. No Student at ASCR is left behind… unless they decide to take another Path.
